Auction Overview
The first thing below the overview is the 14K RR watch with photograph. That's all I really need to say here about it. Scroll down for pictures and a description of it.
There are several primitive/country items. Wainscoted cabinets, grain bin, trunks, advertising boxes, quilts, wire stands, fun graphic items, a couple of whirly-gigs, a wonderful child's chest of drawers and even a Zinc bath tub!
The advertising items have a flair to them that makes decorating fun. The 2 Hires signs have the All-American Hamburger and Hot Dog shown. The Pabst sign with the Triple Crown Winners is one that I haven't seen in a long while. And how many Ken-L-Ration thermometers have you seen? Or for that matter the Borden's Ice Cream flavor sign? And what about a Kool-Aid dispenser?
There are several good old prints including a Dogs playing Poker side-by-side picture of the bluff and then the lay down! There are also a couple of prints of dogs peeing that are just hilarious. Mirrors, signs and more are also available for your walls.
There is a nice selection of Orientalia including an incredible hand woven Silk 4-panel screen (as is), a Japanese woodblock, carved tables & lamps and much more. Oriental rugs include a 12' X 18', 1920s hand woven beauty! It needs a cleaning, but they don't come up very often in that size. There are several other Orientals in the sale too. The altar cabinet is really amazing and the carved side table with marble top is top-notch! The heavily carved coffee table is something to see along with the carved lamps, plaques and statues.
There is a nice selection of upholstered furniture including a sofa set that is only a year & a half old! All of the upholstered furniture this week is clean and odor free. The Kitchen-Aid mixer in Red is lots of fun!
You can tell by the length of the description that this is a big sale, it might even be the biggest yet for a Tuesday night, but there are nice items all throughout and it will definitely be worth your time and effort to attend. Keep checking the site for more pictures and details.

Railroad Conductors Watch and Photo!
14K Gold Railroad Conductor's Pocket Watch. Face of clock is labeled "Henry Wriston". I have never seen that before. It is also accompanied by a photograph of Henry Wriston that has the following written on the back "H. C. Wriston Conductor" "Minneapolis Minn 1898 Street Car Conductor Minneapolis" "1898 Street Car Conductor all Winter". What an incredible combination of watch and photo! You couldn't ask for a more authentic Railroad Watch than this! The watch is a Waltham 15 Jewel in a 14K case. The serial number is 13551689. The watch is ticking continuously and we will keep checking it to see if it keeps correct time.
