Dear Stacey,
Our last newsletter was published in June - since then so
much has happened! Stacey and I have been going non-stop with
activities, shows, Ebay and the shop. As we approach the
Holidays again I wanted to take some time and let everyone know
what's been going on, tell you about the very exciting events
that we have lined up for the rest of the year and thank you for
making 2004 a great success!
Stacey and I celebrated our 10th Anniversary this summer by
renewing our vows. We had a beautiful ceremony and celebration
in our back yard with close friends and family. It was a
beautiful evening in August and we were thrilled to be
surrounded by those that we love.
William is fast approaching 3 years of age and is constantly
moving and talking now! He started "Transition
Classes" at Country Club Christian Church this fall and is
doing very well. He loves his teacher Miss Lisa and his fellow
classmates.
Thanks to your support the business was busy this summer as
well. We managed a few Estate Sales and set up at three shows in
Overland Park, Topeka and Westport. We had great success at
Topeka and Westport. The Overland Park show had new management
this year and it will take some time for them to establish a
mailing list and reputation. We also kept a nearly constant
presence on Ebay. Selling everything from $10.00 jewelry to a
$5600.00 silver bowl. We really sell it all!
Things are going well at the Gallery too! We just celebrated
our one-year anniversary November 1st and have just completed a
gallery expansion into the adjoining hallway - nearly
doubling our display area!
To help fill that additional gallery space we recently we
acquired a nice collection of Southwest Artwork including a
study by Charlie Die, an Olaf Wieghurst Oil on Board, 2 Bronze
sculptures by Liberty, MO artist Tom Phillips, a collection of
Native American Silk screens and several other related items. We
are also processing lots of Sterling Silver and a good selection
of jewelry including many broaches (this year's hottest
accessory!).
If you haven't stopped by the Gallery or shopped our Ebay
auctions in awhile - now is definitely the time! We really have
a wonderful selection of art, jewelry, silver and furniture.
Whether you are putting those finishing touches on your home for
the holidays - or - shopping for that perfect gift - Tuxedo
Antiques has something for you.
We really want to thank each and every one of you for your
support. Our business is only viable because of you. We truly
appreciate you and your collecting needs and look forward to
continuing our relationship now and in the future.
Wishing you and your family all the best,
Jason Roske
