At The Kansas City Auction
Company we treat all clients with respect and
dignity. Selling your valued possessions or the possessions
of a loved one can be very difficult. That is why
once your decision is made, we take the load off your shoulders and put
it on ours.
Once you've contacted us, we will meet with you to
review your estate and discuss your particular needs.
After determining the best course of action, we
will begin the process of managing your estate liquidation whether it
be an auction, estate sale or an estate buy-out.
What Happens After I
Decide to Have an Auction or Estate Sale?
Once terms have been agreed to and a date
established, we will go to work on your auction or estate sale.
Your sale will be immediately added to our Calendar
of Events. Then, approximately two to three weeks prior to the sale
date (depending on estate size),
we will begin the process of
reviewing, pricing and displaying everything to be sold at the sale.
One week to three days prior to the sale date your sale will
be advertised in the local paper and an Email will be sent to our
customer list.
If your auction involves real estate, a sign with a
flyer insert will be placed in front of the sale home within 30 days of
the Auction. We will conduct one to two
Open House events - each of which will be advertised in the local paper
(KC Star) on our website, and via email notifications to our clients
and local realtors.
Most of our sales and auctions are conducted in
Kansas City and it's surrounding areas where we have a large customer
base that look for and attend all of our sales. So, you can
rest assured the we will attain the most for your valued
possessions.
How Does a Buyout Work?
If for whatever reason an estate sale is not for
you, The Kansas City Auction Compan is always
prepared to purchase entire or partial estates. After you
have contacted us, we will meet with you and review the items you have
to liquidate. Once we have come to terms that are mutually beneficial,
we will remove the estate in a timely fashion and will leave the area
we removed your estate from broom clean.
